A Verb Can Never be a Noun

A not-so-Engishy person called, reconfirming a cancellation made on a reservation. Guess what happened;

C: I though I already had this reservation cancellating (huh?)

A: Oh, no ma'am. I'm seeing here that your flight is still reservating.

Then the agent presses on the mute button and responded to her seatmate's inquiring look, "Well she said this reservation was supposed to be cancellating!"

Repetitive

The caller is so angry about the charge in his credit card that he simply wants to end all transactions with the company. Here's the call:

C: No! You don't understand! I've been having these charges for many months now, and I just want all of these charges to disappear! You hear me? I want to cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel!

A: All right, Mr. Jones, I'm already cancelling, cancelling, cancelling, cancelling, cancelling you acount!

Well, you got to hand it to the agent, the customer got his request... to the last dot!

Dedication

Ever wonder if other people see you as a dedicated employee? Here's a scenario of a caller saying the agent didn't have dedication:

C: You don't know how to take care of your customers! What kind of customer service is this?! A lot of agents have assisted me but you are not taking care of my reservation!

A: Ma'am I am trying my best to assist you on this.

C: No you're not!

A: Yes I am.

C: No you're not!

A: Ma'am, I am taking care of this reservation. I am dedicated to my work. I am so dedicated that I'm going to dedicate this song to you! (Agent pushes the hold button)

So in the end, the agent really dedicated the hold music to the caller for a looooong, looooong time...

Pocahontas

A very witty agent got a call who was a real pain. The caller was complaining about the kind of service she was receiving. Here's the dialogue (not a quote):

Agent (A): This is the worse customer service I have ever experienced! I have been all over the world and this is the first time somebody treated me like this!

Caller (C): Ma'am, you think you own whatever land you land on? The earth is just a dead thing you can claim!

That shut her up.
